Your Frequency is a unique 1–4 character identifier that becomes the signature of your Station across supported launch platforms. While you own your Frequency, no other Station can reserve or use it.

When Genesis closes, no additional Genesis Frequencies will ever be offered.

Can I use freq.fun without reserving a Frequency?

Yes. Every new Station receives the default Frequency FREQ at no cost. Reserving a custom Frequency is completely optional.

Why reserve one?

A custom Frequency makes every launch uniquely yours. Instead of sharing the default Frequency, your Station broadcasts on its own exclusive Frequency.

Can someone else use my Frequency?

No. While you own your Frequency, no other Station can reserve or use it.

Why is Genesis limited?

Genesis exists to give the first users the first opportunity to reserve the best Frequencies. Once all 222 Genesis Frequencies have been reserved, Genesis permanently ends.
